Interactive Teller Machine (ITM)
The First Community Bank interactive teller machines (ITMs) feature upgraded technology and improved functionality over existing ATMs, including a touchscreen, two-way video option to speak with an FCB teller, in English or Spanish, during bank hours.
Is an ITM the same as an ATM?
Yes. The Interactive Teller Machine functions just like the familiar ATM, but with additional transaction capabilities, including a two-way video option to speak with an FCB teller.
What are ITM hours of operation?
ATM functions, without teller assistance, are available 24/7. ITM functions are available 8 a.m.–9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m.–noon, excluding Bank Holidays. Customers making a deposit with an ITM teller up until 6 p.m. will receive credit to their account on the same business day.
How do I use an ITM?
Simply touch the screen to activate the two-way video feature of the ITM. Once the screen is activated, one of our FCB tellers will come online to assist you. You may communicate with the teller by using the built-in speakers or touchscreen keyboard; a handset is also available at walk-up locations. The teller will walk you through the transaction just as they would in person.
What if I only want to use the machine as an ATM?
The terminal may be used as an ATM, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply insert your Debit Card into the blinking blue slot on the right side of the screen and you will be prompted through your desired ATM transaction.
What additional functions can I do on the ITM?
- Speak with a teller
- Cash checks and make deposits
- Make cash withdrawals up to $2,500
- Cash "on-us checks" up to $2,500 (includes non-customers)
- Make loan payments
- Balance inquiries
Who exactly am I talking to on the ITM?
When you use our ITM, you will talk to a First Community Bank employee here in the Coastal Bend. No third party is involved.
Currency Options
For cash deposits, the ITM will accept all denominations of U.S. currency. With a live teller, our ITMs are set to dispense denominations of $100s, $20s, $5s, and $1s. For an ATM transaction, denominations are limited to $20s. Visit with a teller to learn more.
What about coins?
Just like a traditional ATM, the ITM machine does not accept, or dispense coins. If you would like to cash a check using the ITM teller, you may do so by opting to donate the “cents” portion of your check to our “Coin for Change” program. All donations will benefit dozens of Coastal Bend charities and organizations through FCB’s Others 1st Project.
